Roger Huston – Roger is the Minister of Testify Church of Christ.  He has served several churches across the country through preaching sermons, presiding over the Lord’s Supper and Offering, baptizing, leading prayer, and teaching Sunday morning and Wednesday evening Bible classes, and was active in Campus Ministry.  He received his Bachelor of Arts degree Summa Cum Laude with a major in Religion from Simpson College.  He then went on to Yale Divinity School and graduated with a Master of Arts in Religion degree with a concentration in Biblical Studies.  In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, and hobby farming.

Shawna Huston – Shawna has been active in ministering to women and men for the past several years.  Her approach to ministry is one of open-mindedness and compassion.  She listens attentively and always allows everyone to tell their own story.  Evangelism for her comes not from the judgment of others but rather from the acceptance of others.  From love, peace, and understanding Shawna is able to approach others about their spiritual journey.  As Testify Church of Christ’s Associate Minister she assists in the church’s administration, shares in some of the worship roles, and is active in evangelism and outreach ministries.  Yet, not only does Shawna have a passion for people, she also loves and tends to animals in her free time.

Patricia Huston – Patricia is a retired communications specialist.  She now lovingly serves Testify Church of Christ as the Fellowship Minister.  She frequently arranges fellowship opportunities for the church and regularly has church members over to her house for fellowship.  Patricia has also volunteered her time and resources to many non-profit and philanthropic organizations.  She enjoys seeing her children and pug dogs.

Deb Baker – Deb is the Wellness Minister here at Testify Church of Christ.  She is in charge of leading and directing the wellness ministry and teaches the Wellness Class on Sunday mornings at 8:00 am.  She is a long-time fitness and nutrition enthusiast.  She has taught several resistance bands classes here in the Des Moines metro area.  She is also studying to become a Certified Personal Trainer.  After training for hard for months, she ran and completed the 2009 Chicago Marathon in October.  In addition to her rigorous workout schedule, she greatly enjoys family activities and events.

Greg Baker – Greg has always been community orientated.  As such, he has served as the past President of the Johnston Rotary, the Johnston Chamber of Commerce, and the Greater Des Moines Affiliates Council.  He continues to demonstrate excellent leadership within the community and we rejoice in having him as our Community Minister here at Testify Church of Christ.  One of his roles is to coordinate community service opportunities for the church.  Greg is a devoted husband, father, son, and mentor for many in the community.
